Welcome to Peninsula Youth & Family Services, a private contractor with the State of Washington. PYFS is contracted with the state to provide essential services to youth ages 15 to 23 while they transition out of foster care into adulthood. Programs and services provide a safe and supportive environment for current and former foster youth to pursue their goals and learn the skills they need to lead positive and fulfilling lives.
PYFS's main programs include independent and transitional living skills, coaching, and other educational and support services for youth and those that care about them, include community service providers. These services are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each youth, and are available as virtual courses, live workshops, telephone, email, and some social networking sites.
At Peninsula Youth & Family Services, we put our clients first. Services provided are voluntary, meaning that the clients have the choice to decide what is best for their unique needs and goals. As an experienced professional I am skilled in guiding the youth through their individualized process of transitioning into adulthood, helping them navigate the challenges of life, and providing them with the support they deserve.
