Listening to young people and give support when and where it is needed.

The Youth & Young Adult Advisory Council

YYAAC council members will be given a voice through their lens of lived experiences, including diversity, equity and inclusion helping make decisions about how to listen to young people and give support when and where it is needed. A participant can earn volunteer & community service hours if needed. Just ask.

Being a part of the council you make new connections with other local young people & organizations. Stipend earning is a benefit when available.

The council is a community engagement group where everyone is between 14 - 25  who will guide the creation of this local space that works towards sustainable housing and living skills, education, employment, reduction of stigma, community events & activities building social capital. This council will help ensure that our strategies are relevant, meaningful & accessible to young people. OWL360 values  young people's insight, expertise, experiences, and contributions.
